[Normally, here's where he'd move the conversation to something explicit. But Stephen hesitates. He knows Cyrus reads his messages, and that's pretty much the biggest boner killer he can think of.

Would it be suspicious at this point, Stephen wonders, to avoid sexting? Is he going to have to grit his teeth and do it? He looks at his communicator for a long moment, and then decides -- uuuuuuughno. No, he can't. Too weird. Too gross.]

I mean, let's be real. My job isn't committing to exclusivity, either. Eleven other people have it. Which is impressive. Props to the job.

[Stephen's grown up with love stories like idealized Tribute relationships, and also his grandparents' partnership has been held on a pedestal for him. He likes the idea of finding his forever girl, or boy, or both -- an exclusive triad would be okay, too...]
